Shopping is strange in Belgrade. . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . Outside of the EU, yet 20% more expensive. Import monopolists reign supreme. However, the average Serb would prefer to spend their money on looking good rather than eating. It works though. Mall culture is new here so everyone likes to hang out there and shop. Similar to a Kevin Smith film… Not an ideal place to pick up cool and unique things unless you consider Zara and Nike to be hidden gems. There are some special stores, but they are few and far between. . . .

Local indie rock design shop. More Brit than Brooklyn, but that's okay. Cool bags and dresses for the ladies and T shirts for doooods. Special because an independent store can thrive amidst the prevalent mall culture of Belgrade. Go and spend some dinars!

Oohhhhh! A local radio station's shop. What's so special about this? Well, it's not just a local radio station, it's the voice of the Serbian youth culture. Playing an integral part in bringing down Slobodan Milosevic, B-92 has a special place in the hearts all of non-ultra-nationalist Serbs. Supplying a large collection of books, comics and music, buy their T-shirts! Located in the Belgrade Youth Culture Center
